You may have heard of National Novel Writing Month or Nanowrimo as it's affectionally called. The website describes it best: "[Nanowrimo] is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30."
I was in awe last year of so many friends who participated in the fun, and many who have done for several years. Serious hat-tip to any and everyone doing NaNoWriMo. Unfortunately I know I simply don't have the time or the discipline to crank out 50,000 words in 30 days. BUT, I can attempt to participate in the fun of national ... months in two ways that I think will be a lot of fun for me, and I hope you'll come in the ride with me. I decided to sign up for National Podcast Posting Month (NaPodPoMo) I have a daily show (Daily Quote Podcast) so I thought to myself, "Ok, yeah, I can handle that." But I wanted to up the ante so to speak. I also signed up for National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo) It's the Fourth and this is technically my first post for it but I figure I can play catch up for those three other entries I'm missing. So I hope you'll listen to my podcasts and that you keep checking the blog for new entries throughout the month as I attempt to produce content on both.
I'd love to hear if any of you are participating in the National Months. Leave links in the comments! Also if you have a suggestion for a blog post or podcast leave those those as well. ;)
